It Started With a Delivery Truck and a Dream
Before New AV Installers was a name anyone in Southern California recognized, Jeremy Griffiths was driving a Pepsi delivery route by day and installing alarm systems on the side. He was good with his hands, great with people, and increasingly convinced that the AV installation industry in SoCal was failing its customers — showing up late, cutting corners, and disappearing after the sale. He knew he could do better.
In 2005, Jeremy put his delivery route behind him and founded New AV Installers with a single mission: bring genuine craftsmanship and real reliability to residential and commercial AV installation across Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just quality work, every time.
What started as a one-man operation grew steadily — not through flashy marketing, but through word of mouth. One happy homeowner referred a neighbor. A satisfied restaurant owner recommended us to a colleague. Project by project, county by county, the company expanded into a full 8-person team of certified technicians and office staff, completing hundreds of installs each year and earning a reputation as one of the most trusted AV teams on the West Coast.
Today, New AV Installers is still family-run, still hands-on, and still holds itself to the exact same standard Jeremy set on day one. Kameron Griffiths (VP & Engineer) leads technical design and engineering. Jordyn Griffiths keeps the operation running like clockwork. Michael Ratcliff manages client relationships and new business. And Jeremy? He still oversees every project with the same obsessive attention to detail that built this company from the ground up. Jeremy Griffiths
Founded New AV Installers in 2005 after years as a part-time alarm installer who saw Southern California homeowners and businesses being let down by unreliable contractors. Jeremy oversees company direction, project scheduling, and the exacting standards every single install is held to. His hands-on leadership style and refusal to cut corners are the reason this company still runs the way it did on day one.
Kameron Griffiths
Leads all technical engineering and system design for New AV Installers. Kameron ensures every system is spec'd correctly, every component is the right fit, and every design makes sense for the space — before a single cable is run. His engineering oversight is a core reason our installs perform at the level they do, whether it's a focused outdoor audio setup or a full-home integration in Los Angeles or Orange County.
Michael Ratcliff
Manages client relationships and new business development across all of New AV Installers' service areas. Michael is the first voice you hear when you reach out — and he makes sure your experience from first call to final walkthrough is exactly what a premium AV partner should feel like. His focus on clear communication and honest expectations has been central to the company's 60–70% repeat client rate.
Jordyn Griffiths
Keeps the entire New AV Installers operation running smoothly behind the scenes — from scheduling and logistics to client communication and day-to-day coordination. When our technicians show up on time and fully prepared at a job site in San Diego, Riverside, or San Bernardino, it's Jordyn who made sure everything was in place to make that happen. The team runs because she keeps it running.
Our field team is made up entirely of experienced, certified technicians. We haven't brought on a new hire in over six years — not because we're not growing, but because we refuse to send anything less than a seasoned professional to your home or business. Every technician on your project has real-world experience across Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties, and holds multiple industry certifications.
